I wanted to share a really good zine on antisemitism and the Left that I finished a few days ago. It’s called The Past Didn’t Go Anywhere by April Rosenblum, and it’s available freely online. It’s about a decade old but the material in it is pretty evergreen.

The basic idea of the zine: The Left has largely failed in incorporating antisemitism in its movements, and has even often perpetuated antisemitic ideas. While many Jews here on tumblr might already get that, I found this zine to be a a really useful primer for me as a Leftist and a Jew, in order to understand how to best square these two identities.

I took a minute to go through it and screencap my favorite excerpts, so take a look below. It’s gonna be a bit wall-of-text-y, but every word is fantastic. Apologies for not providing captions of each image!

I’ve seen that table floating around before! Good to have a source.

Also, for those looking for intro materials, this looks decent (have not read all of it, though)
