Anarchists smash up a limousine during Inauguration Day protests.

Masked white dudes with gloves and hoodies. Are they privileged assholes or paid plants? Just wondering over here.

I mean aside from the fact that there’s only one person in this photo who’s skin color is visible I really don’t see the problem with white people using their privilege to tear up a limousine from a presidential motorcade. Like I’m not saying there for sure weren’t any paid plants there to incite violence in an attempt to delegitimize the protests its just that protests that damage property of oppressors shouldn’t be seen as illegitimate.

Shit like what corporationsarepeople did there is a classic deligitiming strategy. According to those looking to defang a protest, the violent ones are always going to be white middle class straight cis abled male kids with no stake in the issue.
Making it look like there are good oppressed protesters who are poor POC and use non-violence vs bad white rioters who just came to destroy shit is just one more way to try to divide a movement, erode solidarity between non-violent and violent protestors.
It’s bullshit.
