In light of the great Nazi punching meme going around right now, I want to remind everyone that the people who were filmed socking Richard Spencer were members of AntiFa or another organization aligned with AntiFa. They were dressed the way they were to obscure their identity and were trained, prepared, etc. to risk and face arrest, pepper spray, violent police force etc. They weren’t just any random person.
We all should want to rearrange a Nazi face but please remember that AntiFa resistance is trained to take these actions while protecting themselves and others from law enforcement. The best thing many of us can do is to support and assist these people: by not identifying them, by not implicating them, by covering their movements and not putting ourselves or others at-risk while they are working.
Punch a Nazi today, but recognize that AntiFa and aligned organizations might fight for everybody but they don’t go into these situations as everypeople. A clear understanding of their actions, goals, and the risks of their work is paramount to their safety and success.
What I’m taking from this is that there is a sweet secret scociety of nazi-punchers and that is just the best news I have ever heard so hells yes I will give them the covert support they might need sign me right the fuck up secret nazi-punchers

Antifa are Anti-Fascist Action groups. They do everything from spreading leaflets and publishinh reports of facist activity to punching nazis. Identities of individual members are often not public but finding an antifa group in your own city is often as easy as googling them.
You can support them by not revealing the identities of those in actions, you can support them financially and of course you can support them by joining an antifa to participate in their work. If punching nazi’s sounds scary to you, don’t worry: there are a lot of things you could do that don’t involve any of that. You can be a full antifa participant without punching nazis.
If you do like punching nazis, joining an antifa is also an excellent idea. It will put you in touch with experienced nazi-punchers who know how to make a quick get away, what to do when arrested, how to fight a legal battle after arrest and more. Oh and the best part is of course that you can punch nazis together and help each other get to safety afterwards.
