AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL REPORT 2016/17: THE STATE OF THE WORLD’S HUMAN RIGHTS

Regardless of what you think of Amnesty as an organization, their annual report, available in 19 languages, is a great source of information to some (but by no means all) of the shit going on in the world.

For example: Did you know that since the French State of Emergency in november 2015 there have been 4,000 house searches
without judicial authorization, 400 house arrests and 140 protests that were not permitted to take place?

It’s really worth reading at the very least the segment regarding your own country and those close to you, as well as any countries you intend to put forward as ‘places where this shit does not happen’.
