Tv shows that glorify the police are not ‘progressive’ just because they have positive representation of minority characters. The police are and always have been one of the main sources of our oppression. When a tv show uses the stories about our oppression to make cops look like good guys, then they are harming us, not helping us. Cop propaganda is cop propaganda.
