What happened: a rape survivor encountered abuse and discrimination from a professor. The university dismisses all her accusations and invalidates her acadmic credits on her masters project, which will result in her losing her scolarship and being forced to leave the country. They seem to be prepared to bully her out to protect their abusive professor.
After students start a petition, the University of Amsterdam then hires a lawfirm who force Change.org to alter the text. Money that the university received from students and the state is used to infringe the freedom of speech abd freedom to protest of those protecting an abused student.
The petition is currently not accepting new signatures as those fighting for this consider their next move.
