Clinton is bad and her politics paved the way for an actual fascist but pls keep blaming 20 something’s on a blogging website for Trump it’s a good look and def will support the resistance

Remember when the DNC and Clinton campaign propped up Trump as a pied piper candidate because they thought it was better than actually positing any political conviction as justification for her candidacy.

And connecting this to French politics which I’m pretty sure was the thing that originated this, the mainstream parties have been running on “hey but we’re not the Fronte National” for the last decade, while in the meanwhile France has been kept in a near constant state of emergency, and laws have been passed against french muslims and workers. Both the UMP (french right wing party) and the Parti Socialiste (french center left) have dug their own graves by accepting the far right’s narrative on all sorts of social issues while they have developed a homogenously neoliberal economic policy, all under the idea that “hey but at least we’re not the FN”.

The parallels should be obvious
