At the Milo protest tonight, a group of around twenty bro-Milo bros marched up Telegraph and tried to start shit with a significantly larger crowd of protesters. They couldn’t finish what they started, though– some antifas hit one of them with a rock and another with a stick and they scampered.

You can debate the merits of violence philosophically and tactically. But a little anecdote: I ended up in a bathroom later next to a guy who was on the phone and I pretty quickly realized he was the one who’d been hit by a rock. As he was complaining to his friend whatever, one of the things he said was, “I’m never doing this again.”

Remember that when you hear “you’re playing into his hands”, “this is what Milo wanted”, etc.

Remember: Most fascists are ultimately opportunists that leave in the face of minor violence.
