It’s a class thing, it’s a sex-negative thing. Google the word tranny and you come up with transgender sex workers.
Trans women mostly, mostly white, mostly middle-aged of older, mostly middle-class or more, don’t want to be seen as having anything to do with those people.
And I don’t believe that’s right.
