So I got an anon re: revolutionary queer politics saying that reducing things to LGBT only was about surviving and avoiding homelessness. How do we actually answer this without legitimizing liberal identity politics or ace exclusionism?

It is totally possible to fight homelessness and other things that are killing us without abandoning your movement and alligning yourself with capitalism, which CAUSES homelessness and the other things that are killing us.
Radical queers have responded to homelessness by squating, by working together, by sharing resources, by teaching each other how to steal without getting caught, by attacking the causes of homelessness, by resisting evictions and evil landlords, by fighting for housing for all. Radical queers have been front and center pouring their energy in the fight for housing.
Liberal LGBT advocates have gone “well if I can get married I can inherit this apartment from my partner so that solves my problem and the rest of you can suck it”.
