Remember these names. If you see these names, shit is about to go down. Any organization that allows these people to soeak at their event is either very ignorant or willfully platforming a massive transphobe.
These are horrible people. They lie, they publish bad ‘research’, they promote abusive therapies. They have all been discredited a thousand times yet they continue to get invited by media and conferences desperate for a transphobic ‘expert’ to hide their bigotry behind.

True! who works closely with…. Ray Blachard!!! It’s a cluster fuck of a few people constantly supporting and peer reviewing each other in a tiny echo chamber of hate.

Don’t forget the elephant in the room named Janice Raymond. When people refer to TERFs having influence on government policies about trans people in general and trans women specifically, that’s her. Her book The Transsexual Empire still gets cited in a disgusting number of academic papers.

Not to defend Blaire White but I think she’s just a youtuber, she doesn’t have any additional institutional power like the other people on the list who are all doctors or have established websites. She’s also trans herself which definitely doesn’t stop her from being transphobic but it still means she’s not perpetuating transphobia at the level of these others who actively try to convert trans people or pass legislation to harm us. She’s doing harm but not nearly on the same level.

Like, the people I named were just the 5 that popped into my head as people that I always hear getting mentioned in support of transphobic shit. Katelyn made another list which included all the same people except Blair White was not on it buy James Cantor was. When the focus is on scientists that list is better. 

It must be mentioned though that while they do not have the same institutional power as their cis counterparts, transgender bloggers/vloggers/speakers who preach transphobic shit provide a vital piece in the puzzle of the transphobic narrative. Transphobic media can point to the rare trans person actively supporting transphobia and go “look, here’s a trans person saying what we’ve been saying!”. If it wasn’t for people like her, that was one trick they could not pull on us again and again and again.
