Why is it so hard to accept that a lot of our “preferences” are shaped by a bigoted society?
Here’s the thing, if you’re saying shit like “no fats, no femmes” or “no Blacks, no Asians” or “I refuse to date bi men”, you have some bigotry you need to work through. If you’re saying you’re not attracted to one person in particular, you’re just not attracted to that one person. That’s fine.
If you won’t date a fat person, a femme person, a Black person, an Asian person, a trans person, a bi person, examine why. You might learn some uncomfortable truths about yourself and the society you grew up in.
