i feel like i’ve posted too much on twitter today so i’ll just post this here

today really was a great day, and unlike anything i’ve ever seen before. i’ve been going to protests for 6 years now and never have i ever seen such a large contingent of socialists, marxists, antifascists, anti-rascists, religious leaders, students, and anybody who opposes white supremacy all in one place. we drove out the nazis from berkeley, we showed that hate has no place in the bay area, we won. it was very inspiring, and showed a real desire for change.

this was a small victory, and we still have so much to overcome. so much systematic racism and white supremacy ingrained in all of society that we must defeat. but after today i am very hopeful and optimistic that it will happen in my lifetime.
