I’m not sure how she’s every trans girl ever. Like, not to be pendantic but obviously no one is because trans girls are as diverse as humanity and I can see how describing a white blonde skinny beautiful transgender activist as ‘every trans girl ever’ might alienate some people.
But YES I love her message. She made this decision to (and let’s be real: it was a decision, no one goes through all she went through and feels that positive all the time) that if she was in this shitty situation of being forced to be a public target for bigots, then she was going to be so open ad so positive and so ready to kick ass about it. If she was gonna be the image of
‘
everything America hates’, than the main defining feature of that image was going to be hope.
And I just love that.
