By which I mean we exist in their meeting spaces, listen in on their meetings, and track their activities.
It’s not hard, really all anyone has to do is go to their fucking websites and join one of their discord servers or forums or whatever. Their centralized structure means that their plans are so visible they might as well be projected onto the side of a skyscraper.
Plus, their operational security stinks! They haven’t been facing off against harsh FBI suppression for the last half of a century like anarchists and socialists have, mostly because they as a movement are easy to use and manipulate and don’t pose an actual threat to the State.
Our information networks have adapted to the point where there isn’t one central point you can hear everything from. I’m pretty embedded and I definitely don’t have access to the intimate planning processes of various groups and orgs I stand in solidarity with.
Fascists are still informing and directing each other via a “hub-and-spoke” model that presents extreme vulnerabilities, namely centralization of information and leadership that can be targeted for replacement or elimination.

As long as we understand agency as a property of specific individuals rather than a relationship between people, we will always be dependent on leaders—and at their mercy.

The result is anti-fascists having a very clear image of our enemy while fascists tend to not know basically anything about anti-fascists.
In short, anarchists and other anti-fascists are really cool and as usual we’re doing everything right. Meanwhile, fascists continue to suck at everything and will lose.
Why is this information being openly pointed out?
Cops and fascists already know that this is happening. Antifascists out fascists to their employers all the time. There are entire websites where antifacists openly publish their research on fascists so that others can use it. So the fact that it is happening is not that big a secret. (& note how this post is not sharing any specifics on who is doing what.)
But not every antifascist out there knows that this is something they can do and it is easy. Tired of not knowing when your local boneheads are going to show up? You may not even need to make a fake facebook account to see their next events. A lot of these groups are so unprotected you can just read all there is to know about them on a public forum, twitter or public personal facebook pages.
(Note that many forms of surveillance and infiltration are illegal in many countries so protect your online identity and inform yourself about what you can do and what information you can share safely and when you may need to be extra careful).
