Just a little reminder (because aparently this is necessary again) that if your mockery of nazis involves mocking their body size, income level, virginity, kinks, genital size, lack of masculinity, living with their parents, etc. You are hurting comrades with the same body size etc. and I will block your pathetic ass.
I wanna elaborate on this some more because some people asked questions about it. Like ‘but nazis involve their rejection by women and their kinks in their politics so aren’t we right to pick up on those things?’. And yeah, we should respond to it, but most of our responses to these things actually strengthen the ideology behind their thinking and the processes going on there instead of undermining them.
Our own comrades as well as bystanders experience toxic masculinity too and struggle with much the same issues of having their masculinity tied to their self esteem and sexual achievements.
When our responses to nazis include the messages that yes, your tiny penis is unattractive and yes, your lack of sex is laughable, and yes living in your parents basement makes you a failure, we make our comrades and bystanders feel unattractive and laughable and like failures and we keep the ideology of toxic masculinity that creates these ideas in tact.
And when nazis express a kink as part of their politics, that kink is under attack. Our comrades who happen to have that kink are watching is get appropriated by nazis and turned into something despicable. We’d do well to help them reclaim it instead of mocking the kink so ruthlessly that they are afraid to speak about the fact that they have that kink too.
We’d do well to celebrate sexual deviance as a site of freedom and pleasure that has always belonged to us anarchists and rebels, we’d do well to emphasize that bodies and genitals in all shapes and sizes are wonderful, that sexual perfomance does not define masculinity and that masculinity or economic achievements under capitalism do not define our human worth.
We’d do well to emphasize that what makes nazis shitty is that they are nazis and that’s all there is to it. We can do better.
