Call to the defense of the Hambach forest!
On the 21st of november, brown coal miners are threatening to destroy Germany’s oldest forest.

For the past 40 years, the 12000 year old Hambach forest has been slowly destroyed and turned into a brown coal mine that produces 30000 tons of CO2 emissions per year. Since 2014 however, the forest has been defended by a group of loosly-orginzed squatters.
They are expecting that RWE will start their bulldozers, tree crackers and harvesters immidiately after the 21st of November. According to leaked information they are planning to destroy the oldest parts of the forest and all tree house villages. In a document published by the local parlament RWE is quoted as “20 of the 22 known tree houses are in the destruction area”
They need as much support as possible! Donations, solidarity, yes, but most of all, they need people to build blockades, sit in trees, physically block the diggers, trucks, and police. The state, the digging companies, the police, they all work together for one goal: profit. Turn your theory into praxis and come to the Hambach forest!
