I know this is stupid but it wouldn’t make me a dick to buy an antifa hoody to support the cause even tho I’ve never participated in direct action. I’ve been to a couple protests that’s it. My mental health holds me back a bit. I support direct action and would like to think I’d clock a fascist if I ever meet one. but I don’t wanna be a tosser and claim to be/support antifa if I’m not helping?

Absolutely not.  You know what helps the cause as much as “direct action?”  Repping the cause.  Wearing antifa gear does three things:

1) It puts racist fucks on notice that there are people in the area that oppose them, so they’d be really dumb to try any of their bullshit.

2) It lets the people that bigots like to target know that they have friends and allies nearby, who will have their back if anyone tries to fuck with them.

3) In the case of our hoodies & shirts, it literally provides support to other anti-fascists and anti-fascists around the world because all proceeds go to The International Anti-Fascist Defence Fund.

4) It maintains a situation where police and intelligence agencies set on criminalizing active anti-fascists can not easily identify their targets through dress codes.
