Extremism

The word ‘extremist’ was invented to control political thought, plain and simple.

If you want to change too much, if you perceive the existing injustice as unbearable, if your passion for change is too strong, if you do not accept the limits that have been put on what we can talk about and what worlds we can wish to achieve, you may be called an ‘extremist’.

And as long as that scares you, it may be used against you.

So the very best you can do is to fully embrace the notion that you are an extremist, because you care passionately about bringing about change and refuse to accept a cruel reality, and that is a good thing.
