– yesterday they were house raids on activists who allegedly participated in the g20 protests in hamburg in july

– a neighbour, pissed off by the massive community repression at the summit, was sentenced to three years of prison for throwing a stone on police in the heat of the moment. no one was hurt.

– no illegal items were found in any of the raids, things like generic black shirts, spray cans and rope were presented as “evidence”

– nine of the raids were conducted against members of the public service trade union ver.di

– police admitted that the raids were an intimidation tactic

– police are calling on journalists to hand over unreleased video material and pictures to identify protesters

– they are threatening to confiscate material “if reliable”

– police are using facial recognition programs and announced that they will start a public manhunt for radicals, including investigation posters
