This post has dozens of replies that go something like “uhhmm you know small local theater productions are a thing right?”

And NOT ONE of them mentions ticket prices that are actually affordable. One post even mentioned spending $100 on ONE NIGHT of entertainment as ‘affordable’. No it fucking aint.

Musicals a spectacle for the rich and they are about poverty so the rich can congratulate themselves on how much they care because they cried during Rent.
