Masculinity is not the problem, the class domination of women by men is.

Butch lesbians and gnc women who you read as masculine are not the problem, men are. 

This is all incredibly obvious and a classic feminist insight, and the fact that we have strayed so far form this framework is shocking and terrifying.

I also think its imporant to point out unhealthy masculine taught traits and such though because I’ve been with many butch women/ masculine nb people who have adapted abusive behavior because it is viewed in our society as “acceptable masculine behavior” and it is a disservice to our community to allow abuse to continue to exist because you would prefer we didn’t talk about it/ you think men are the only problem

unhealthy traits are not unique to masculinity though… there are plenty of feminine traits that are unhealthy (like beavoir’s second sex is largely about how the internalization of femininity leads to toxic traits). The problem is not masculinity, its unhealthy traits. 

Just because you have had the epxerience of butch partners who were abusive does not give permission to generalize that as a unique problem to all butch women. People can be abusive and often are regardless of where they fall in butch/femme dynamics or if they fall within it at all. No one is saying butch women are perfect, because no women are perfect. We are all out here in world that deeply damages us through misogyny trying to survive it, and butch and femme are both ways in which some gay women undertake that project.

You think men are the only problem

Nah, you can not be a man and be “a problem” (even politically, i.e. white women) but like gnc women are not men, in materialist terms or in any other terms, and your scapegoating of abuse onto them is gross. The idea that women who choose to deviate from expected gender norms are somehow more suspect is just straight up reactionary.
