I am not against having ‘no cis men’ spaces, they serve a purpose. But please do not pretend that they meet the safe space requirements of trans men.

Sure, some trans men feel comfortable there but for a lot of trans men being in such a space means either constantly having to explain yourself or walking around with a giant ‘I AM TRANS’ sign on your head in a space that is often still predominantly cis.

Which is, ya know, not a safe feeling.
