I don’t see a lot of enthusiasm for ‘kill all rapists’ slogans outside white cis anarchofeminism, which I think might be because they have never had to consider the history and potential of rape accusations as a lynching tool against minorities.

& really, white feminists all across the spectrum seem really invested in never having that conversation about how the myth of the barbarian rapist vs the white pure woman is still being weilded by white supremacy.

What we say on this topic never seems to get beyond hashtag ‘not-in-our-name’ and involves zero self-reflection or community-reflection on how this concept of white purity impacts activist spaces or why a community response is so much more aggressive when a white cis woman is perceived to be hurt by someone who is neither.

And it’s not like I have all the answers, I most definitely don’t, but this seems like an important conversation to be having.
