I don’t fault anyone who uses these rideshare services and isn’t a member of the super rich. Spending money at all is unethical- there’s no way to do anything moral within this system

OH, absolutely true. Everyone can choose their own level of products-so-unethical-I-avoid-them but it is always gonna be an impossible game without end for most people. I have no illusion that politically informed people could boycot-away Uber. I hope that when people have basic information about how shit Uber and their peers are, they’ll get a bit more creative with that than simply turn to illusions of ethical consumption.
