How would I go about contacting and joining my local Antifa crew(s)?? Would is required of me other than obviously being anti fascist and not being a fuckin pig? Do I need to be able-bodied? An anarchist?

It would be ironic and shitty if you had to be “able-bodied” to be in an antifa crew, right?  We’ve never heard of that as a prerequisite and any alleged antifa crew that had that as a requirement should get a collective thump in the head.

There are probably antifa crews out there that are more comfortable if all there members agree on one political outlook like anarchism, but most of the ones we know reflect the broader antifa movement in that they are non-sectarian and work with people from all kinds of places on the political spectrum.  

As for contacting local crews, you should start by reading this.  You should also look at our suggestions for sussing out whether a given crew is real or fake/a honeypot.    

Don’t be too too bothered if there is a local crew but you don’t hear back from them.  They could be extremely busy or slightly disorganized or a bit paranoid about bringing strangers in or they could just be happy with the size & composition of their crew as it stands.  The next step in that circumstance would be to get your own thing going (see #5).
