There is a lot most anti-fascist movements could be doing to be safer spaces for people of color,
to decolonize their way of thinkings and to be better allies to people of color in all struggles against injustice. It would be great to have more conversations about that and to create more change.

Arguing that the groups of activists that actively block fascists in the street are ‘too white’ is a mistake.

Anti-fascist street action pretty much always involves deliberately exposing yourself directly to police brutality. Ya know, the police who are heavily infiltrated by nazis and white supremacists. The police who get so much more violent when their target is a person of color. The police who do not see people of color as truly human. And if you make it past the police there are, ya know, the fascists to deal with.

Anti-fascist street action is never safe but white people are at far less risk when they confront nazis and the police and should be doing the dirty work when it comes to facing police brutality head on (without getting all white savior about it). People of color are part of the street movement right now and they’re fucking heroes but let’s realize that any push to make the street movement ‘less white’ directly demands that more black bodies be sacrificed.
