I can’t believe this even needs to be said, but like, if you see one privileged person that gets support, empathy, second chances, the benefit of the doubt, and one oppressed person that gets none of those things, the answer is not ‘that first person’s life should be shittier’.

Fighting oppression means removing the systems that produce the shit, not fairer shit distribution.
