how are they some how worse than all the tump supporters that actively spread blatantly lies about hillary that were baseless… if yall are going so hard for hillary.

b of tumblrs trying to get people to think they’re doing their jobs or some shit because was it really necessary to write a fucking callout post about it. 

c of all, and most importantly …wheres their fucking nazi callout post? riddle me that. wheres the alt-right propaganda machines getting taken down? how is this some how more important.

I feel like I should point out that some of those blogs were pretty big. Like, you litsrally couldn’t be Black, involved in pro-black activism, and NOT know Lagonegirl and 4mysquad after being on here for at least a year.

That said, I followed both and yeah, there were one or two hoaxes or misdirects but most of what they posted was already well-known and verified, if not easily verifiable. If they posted somethinf fake, another blog pointed out it was innaccuraste almost immediately after, but so much other stuff was accurate.

So the fact that people are trying to paint this as them stirring the pot is baffling. Like, we didn’t NEED Lagonegirl and 4mysquad to MAKE us doubt the US or affect our opinions in any way, most of us was getting the exact same info from verifiably Black American sources and our own lives. The impact that they had really isn’t that magnanimous when you consider that fact. And it makes the backlash seem like nothing more than just an attempt to invalidate Black activism….which it 100% is.

Right. And if the goal was supposed to be “fuck up Hillary” that doesn’t explain why the majority of black folks still voted for her. So it doesn’t make sense

Yeah, I’m not worried about “propaganda” by Russian bots. Black people been knew how racist America is. We didn’t need anybody from Russia to help us see that.

It’s racist, it’s counter factual, and it’s paternalistic to suggest that black people somehow got snookered by Russian bots when WE were the ones who voted against Trump the hardest.

I’m way more concerned about the GOP bots, the Fox News bots and the NRA bots targeting RACIST WHITE PEOPLE. Seems like their propaganda was a lot more effective.

But yeah, please keep on telling me how fake BLM posts somehow “tricked” all of us simple minded black folks – who had enough common sense to vote against Trump the most.
