Just for the record, don’t feed obligate carnivores vegan diets. Just don’t. The person who fed that fennec fox a vegan diet clearly had no idea what the fuck they were thinking. 

But I wish that the people who went apeshit over this case actually cared about other animals and stopped using isolated cases like this to justify shitting on a whole group of people. 

#every time people get riled up over a case like this i end up side eyeing folks who have never spoken up on animal abuse#in any other context & who dont care about sickness from inadequate nutrition so long as the diet is meat based#& you can tell its way more about being anti-vegan than it is caring about animal wellbeing#they use the animal’s pain as cannon fodder in their pointless debate against veganism#instead of showing genuine concern in an effort to approve quality of life for animals#to *improve* common vegan praxis
