Thing I wanna start doing: never again give an identity definition without adressing the power relationship that made the label relevant.

So never again “Transgender is when you are coercively assigned a gender at birth and do not identity with that gender” without “… and as a result experience the systematic oppression of transgender people.”

Identities are not naturally occuring things, they are relationships to power that we share with others.
