If you are an anarchist, anti-fascist, animal rights advocate, vegan, environmental activist, an anti-establishment troublemaker, or support any of these things.. One group I recommend above any other that you should follow is Unoffensive Animal.

This collective of anarcho-vegan and anti-capitalists are easily some of the best and most inspiring individuals I’ve had the pleasure to meet in the radical communities. If you’ve ever wanted to see militant and direct action against capitalism, environment destruction, and hunters, you will want to follow UA. They’ve been busy keeping the fight.

From fighting both pigs and hunters in the Hambach forest trying to save the beautiful forest capitalists intend to destroy for coal. Risking arrest and brutal oppression by the police, fighting with just sticks and stones to save nature. 

Even hosting their own workshop ‘Liberate or Die’ in Hambach forest, spreading direct action knowledge and skill sets.

Over to hunt sabbing in Sweden to help protect the foxes. They’ve sabbed with comrades all over the UK and Europe. 

And more recently they have descended upon Pont Valley to oppose mining in the area, if successful they will force the mining to discontinue and save the beautiful landscape. Direct action achieving results once again. 

They work constantly to generate useful and informative content on both their Facebook (which you can see here), and their Instagram (here) @unoffensiveanimal. They give reports of animal liberation, anti-capitalist direct action, and hunt sabbing from all over the world. Keeping the ongoing struggle connected.

Unoffensive Animal does a prison letter writing thing where they will make sure letters get sent to activists serving time for their heroic acts. So that these people know they’ve not been forgotten and their actions were not in vein, to give them hope. 

On top of this, they have also made it their mission to help equip radicals and inform them of not only the threats they face but how to defend against them. From information on how to pick locks, how to do banner drops, make stencils, and maintain security culture. If you are serious about action in any way, you should be following them and taking notes.

If all of what I’ve described sounds wonderful to you, it gets better as you can directly contribute to this group and all that they stand for. They have a Patreon, all of the money which goes into it goes directly to finance direct action. They do not keep a single penny, it goes largely on travel and legal support for other activists, your money would go directly to direct action, aiding fellow activists and undermining capitalism and the state. Unoffensive Animal is more than just a Facebook page and an outlet for ALF news. They are a magnificent examples of what activists should aspire to be. Giving constant shows of solidarity, education, and connection. They are a shining demonstration that the fight for liberation is alive and raging on. People have told me on here that I’ve inspired them or they look up to me… well these people inspire me and I look up to them.
