we could probably acknowledge that lesbians are not uniquely likely to be terfs and that terfs are not exclusively lesbians while also acknowledging that lesbian tumblr has a transmisogyny problem but, no, we should probably just keep arguing back and forth like those two things are mutually exclusive for a couple more years.

like i’ve met plenty of transmisogynist bi women but none of them ever held their transmisogyny to be essential to their identities as bi women.

like no not all or even most terfs are lesbians probably but shit most of the angry women in my notes sure seem to be. so let’s talk about that.

like even most favourably to cis women’s feelings we could say that cis lesbians are uniquely vulnerable to a lot of the rhetoric that terfs use on this site, we could say that terfs are targeting young lesbians for radicalisation, we could say that cis lesbians who consider themselves allies are failing to do enough to stop this oh oops wait we couldn’t say that could we.
