I can’t believe this needs saying again but…

Great: analyzing how sexism spreads the systematic idea that pussies are dirty and how, among other consequences, that results in a large number of cisgender men being uncomfortable eating pussy while being perfectly comfortable receiving a blowjob.

Not great: demanding that those men immediately unlearn all of that, pressuring those men into a sex act they are not comfortable with in that moment, claiming that refusing that sex act would make them sexist.

Like, that’s rape.

I could write a whole broader post about how unlearning systematic ingrained things always has a learning process and if you’re not willing to support people through that imperfect progress because they’re not woke enough for you yet, you shouldn’t be hanging out with them at all. Just leave if you can‘t summon the empathy to let real change take place.

But let’s start with don’t rape people, okay?

r*pe tw

What about when a guy coerces you to have sex with him by claiming he eats pussy and then refuses to do it. I hope you don’t think I’m the “r*pist” for being upset about being taken advantage of and manipulated. I just want to bring that up because men do this shit all the time about eating pussy. They know you specifically want it and they will lie

Obviously when a guy ‘tricks’ you into sex with a promise he never meant to keep, he’s a rapist. Lying to get sex is rape.

But like, if you then pressure him into doing what he said he’d do even though he doesn’t want to do it now, that also makes you a rapist. You are not a rapist if you get upset, you definitely are a rapist if you push through and pressure the guy until you get what you want.

There are times when questions of consent are complicated, this is not one of them. There is no situation where pressuring someone into performing a sex act they do not want to do is anything but rape.
