African Americans are incarcerated at more than 5 times the rate of whites.

Which is terrible and deserves attention.

But let’s not pretend we’re better:

Antillean Dutch are incarcerated at more than 10 times the rate of whites.

Moroccan Dutch are incarcerated at more than 12 times the rate of whites.

Stop using ‘at least we’re better than the US’. It is bullshit.
