That’s what the brief convo of “self-hating bisexuals” reminded me of – I have seen a LOT of bi t/rfs who engage in this constant self-flagellation about how, unlike those lib bihets, they can admit that they’re privileged and must constantly work to “check themselves” against the “male influence” that more easily sways them or whatever, continuing to replicate horrific misogyny against other bi women just because transmisogyny is more important to them.

I think it’s been easy for them to trick others who fundamentally disagree with them into spreading this rhetoric too, because they use this “wacky liberal mogai” archetype as a vehicle, while hoping that nobody stops to think “hey wait, what’s the bigger threat here: a 19 year old that never leaves the house identifying as a panromantic futch on tumblr dot com, or the idea that there’s a Hidden Agenda in the Bisexual Community Seeking to Reprogram REAL Lesbians into Wanting Trans W—I Mean Men”.
