Petition to refer to TERFs as FARTs, which stands for Feminist Appropiating Reactionary Tranaphobe
“Trans-Exclusionary-Radical-Feminist,” when you think about it, is a VERY kind term. To be called a TERF is for the person to admit that they still consider you a feminist.
But what kind of feminist excludes so many women from their movement? If you hate so many women for what they are, you really don’t deserve to be called any kind of feminist, radical or otherwise.

It’s been a week and a lot of trans people have been having a lot of great fun with this concept while pissing of TERFs/FARTs, which is great.
So imagine my disappointment to see more and more posts on my dash that go
“I don’t like FART so if you use FART you’re a performative cis ally with bad fake activism.”
Like…. that’s not happening at all? No one thinks using FART is #Resistance. It’s just funny and not on a list of slurs twitter filters out? There could be some posts that I’m missing but even so, these responses feel over the top in their judgements and ‘I don’t like this so it must be the Bad Allies’ is not a useful attitude?
That ‘woker-than-thou’ take actually feels more performative than the behavior it’s criticizing.
