unless I’m missing something, “states are bad” and “in this framework an oppressed people having self-determination from a fascist state is still a good thing to have until we can abolish states as a concept” aren’t mutually exclusive statements? then again I’ll readily admit my knowledge of anarchism isn’t as good as it ought be, but that’s why I’m voicing my thoughts on tumblr.com I guess. to open my mind
Yeah, like obviously all anarchists hope that the Catalonian people eventually choose a different path and reject states in all its forms but who am I to say they need to be ideologically pure in order to deserve not being run by a violent police state?
